"Due to changes in Amateur Service and Amateur Satellite Service there are questions as to legality of Amateurs transmitting to AO-7. The uplink frequency predates the WARC '79 allocation of 435-438 MHz by the ITU for the Amateur Satellite Service and places the uplink in 70cm weak signal segment.

Potential users should realize that when they are uplinking to a satellite, they are no longer operating in the Amateur Service but instead operating in the Amateur Satellite Service. Thus they are subject to Amateur Satellite Service rules. Therefore uplinking to AO-7 is possibly illegal since the Amateur Satellite Service is not permitted at 432.1 MHz. Also, since the IARU bandplan has the 432.1 MHz range earmarked as "weak signal" in all three Regions, it would appear that all users trying to access the uplink are also outside the Amateur Satellite Service rules and regulations."

"Under the international radio regulations, there is a separate Amateur-Satellite Service, distinct from the Amateur Service, related to satellites. In most countries, those two services (as defined in the international regulations) are treated as a single service. In the international regulations, the 70cm satellite band was defined in the 70s as 435-438 MHz. This happened after the construction of AO-7, which uses a 70cm uplink at 432.125-432.175 MHz. Until the 70s, there were no clearly-defined satellite subbands in the amateur regulations, and some countries wanted to keep it that way. Since hams had been building and launching satellites since OSCAR I in 1961, it was felt that some international regulations covering amateur satellites were in order. Unfortunately, this meant that the 70cm uplink for AO-7 fell outside the newly-defined (at that time) 70cm satellite subband. AMSAT asked the FCC to issue a waiver allowing amateurs to use AO-7 on the 432 MHz uplink, which FCC issued. The AO-7 waiver remains in effect today. "

Jak to jest Waszym zdaniem - można robić z Polski łączności przez AO-7 czy nie? Wg. mnie na pierwszy rzut oka można, ale chcę się upewnić.

Pasma są po to by cieszyć się z naszego hobby ale oczywiście w ramach zasad i nie szkodząc innym. Wątpie byś swoją praca na tych częstotliwościach zakłócił komuś pracę nasłuchującemu bardzo słabych sygnałów.
To jedyny satelita latający po orbicie, który pozwala na łączności pow 7000 km. Faktem jest, że nadając w uplinku nie słyszy się co się dzieje aktualnie na częstotliwości...

zwłaszcza jak nadaje się anteną kierunkową w stronę satelity.
Owszem jakimś tam listkiem bocznym można by komuś zakłócić odbiór ale:
- aktywność na tym paśmie nie jest zbyt wysoka poza terminami zawodów
- czas przelotu jest stosunkowo krótki

AO-7 jest takim ewenementem i darem losu, który wspaniale (po latach zwarcia na bateriach) ożył
i działa autonomicznie na samych ogniwach słonecznych, że każda przez niego łączność jest cenna
dla 'historii krótkofalarstwa' Ja bym pracował puki na to pozwala technika. Do AO-7 nie można
przesadzić z mocą a aktualny tryb jego pracy zdaje się jest dziełem przypadku po kolejnym wejściu
z cienia w słońce
