From the DCC: Hessu Hannikainen OH7LZB, developer of the web site APRS.FI, describes development of an open-source server for the APRS-SI network that distributes APRS data worldwide. He even built (and was operating) one on a little RasberryPi! Lots of general info on the APRS-SI network itself, too.
