Yet another Smart SDR logging software-( Flex Radio discussion group)
..............................................
Hi all — I'm Greg, F4BPO. I've been writing a logger called OpsLog for my own station and it has grown enough to be worth sharing. It's free, Windows, a single .exe, no installer.
It speaks the SmartSDR TCP API directly — no OmniRig, no virtual COM port — so the Flex-specific parts are actually built in rather than bolted on:
Multi-slice aware. Every in-use slice shows as a row; everything (frequency, mode, DSP, spot clicks) follows the active one, so a second slice monitoring another band never hijacks your logging. Split is only reported when it really is a split.
Spots on the panadapter. DX-cluster spots are pushed to the radio and colour-coded by what you still need. Click one on the panadapter and the callsign lands in the entry field. WSJT-X decodes can be spotted the same way.
Live meters over VITA-49 — S-meter (click to fill the RST), forward power, SWR, mic, compression, PA volts and temperature.
RX/TX antenna per band, applied automatically on band change.
CWX keying, so no WinKeyer is needed for CW.
PowerGenius XL operate/standby and fan mode, and Antenna Genius switching, in the same window.
The rest is an ordinary full logger: DX cluster with alerts, awards, ADIF, LoTW/eQSL/QRZ/Club Log, contest logging, maps, QSL cards, and a shared-MySQL mode for multi-operator.
Newest and least proven: full-duplex satellite on two slices (A downlink, B uplink) with Doppler tracking. It's written against the API but I have no satellite-capable Flex here — if anyone works birds with transverters, I'd genuinely like to hear how it behaves.
