Yes, its like that in the end of the day when the sun getting low the cells cant provide enough power for the rtty, as the complete tracker only weighs in on 3,5gram I have made quite some shortcuts to keep the weight so low, so no Supercaps or advanced voltage regulation is fitted, but better to have rtty enabaled non the less, I think its quite fun rx:n that mode
What is the shift value and how often does it transmit RTTY? Does it keep QRG stable?
EDIT: OK, I can hear it - 440Hz shift, pairs of frames every few minutes (2-3 I believe). QRG was not stable, but now seems to be more fixed. Signal a little to weak for me yet.

Supercapacitors weigh way to much , even the smaller ones is 0,5-1 gram.
I have connected the v-backup direct to solar so it will have a voltage never going under 1,5V which if iirc the lowest voltage needed to keep the the almanac in memory.
