HI all,
I have updated the Android client to change the pink bars (rendering artifacts which somehow occurs when fps is too fast for the network/server) into black/blue background colors. So aesthetically the waterfall looks better and usable.
The actual problem may be a sync issue as the opengl rendering is running in its own thread different from the GUI and so far communication is by event queueing.
I have also shifted the waterfall a liitle downwards so hopefully it will not overlay the bottom of the spectrum display on some devices. I have based the orthographic projection and model/view matrix on the device width/height. However, some of the screen real estate is used by status bar/ buttons etc. so the actual width/height available for the spectrum/waterfall may be signficantly smaller - thus the fit issue on some devices.
