There is some low effectiveness of Noise Blanker (NB) function in TS-870 especially when AIP is ON.
You can improve it by means of this simple modification. It is necessary to increase resistor R331 in IC-9 comparator circuit (RF unit) from 680k up to 3M.
This enables to essentially enlarge NB adjustment range.
