Rob Sherwood zaktualizował i rozszerzył wpis. Wykrył że piki (overshoot) na starcie nadawania dla ustawionej mocy 30watt sięgają nawet 180 watt !
I don’t know about blown amps, but there is a significant overshoot problem on SSB. While I am not finished updating my FTdx-101D report, the current version has screen shots of minor CW overshoot and much worse overshoot on SSB.
When set for 30 watts (for a low drive linear amp for example), the overshoot was 2X in voltage and thus 4X in power.
