A good rule of thumb is; a well designed 3 element Yagi willl give you about 6dB forward gain and every additional director will give an additional gain of just over 1 DB.
So going to a 3 el from 2 el will give you a couple of dB gain.
Every bit helps! Remember a low Yagi will not give you it's potential gain, have to get them UP
