Locate jumper location JW3001 (solder pads) on the display unit and solder bridge the pads.
Don't use too much heat
The jumper is on the left side of the display board next to the left most CPU as looking from the back to the front with the radio in the normal up-right position.
Reconnect the power.
Press and hold [PROC], [AGC-F], [IPO], & [ATT] and turn the power on.
You will now see 02 off
Rotate the main dial until the display shows ( 02 - on )
Press [PROC]. This will confirm and write the data to the EEPROM memory.
Turn the power off and disconnect the power cord.
Remove the solder jumper that you made in step 3 above.
Replace the covers.
And again be careful that you do not pinch any wires and do not force it together.
