Programming the alignment password 1. Set the transceiver to the Analog-mode.2. Press and hold in the [ MHz ( SETUP ) ] key forone second, then rotate the DIAL knob to select" OPEN MSG 20 " (FTM-3100R/E), " OPEN MSG27 " (FTM-3200DR/DE).3. Press the [ MHz ( SETUP ) ] key, then rotate the DIAL knob to select "MESSAGE".4. Press the [ TXPO ] (FTM-3100R/E),[ D/A ( GM ) ] (FTM-3100R/E) key momentarily to enable pro- gramming of the opening message. You will no - tice the ,rst character entry’s location blinking.5. Rotate the DIAL knob to select the "A", then press the[ V/M ( MW ) ] key momentarily to save the "A" and move to the next character.6.
