Z helpa do GP340 (wybacz za brak formatowania): Per Radio Configuration Bytes These are available in the software to allow for future configuration requirements of the radio and to enhance the future operational capabilities of the radio if and when required. Note: These functions will only work with the correct radio firmware. The usage of these functions may have undesired side effects. Config Byte 1: -------------- bit 0 - set switch off the backlight of control head A R03.01.10 bit 1 - set enable a Data PTT TX time-out-timer The regular Time-Out-Timer mode is then also valid for fast data PTT. R03.02.00 bit 2 - set When battery voltage level below the error tone threshold, the long tone will NOT sound in Tx mode, and battery gauge will also be freezed while TX. (Portable only) D03.02.12 bit 3 - set Radio will narrow the default decode tone Min/Max duration to avoid radio displaying garbage info and reseting issue for system pre-defined signaling systems. - cleared Radio will work in original manner for system pre-defined signaling systems. D03.02.13 bit 4 - set The start alert will sound on both power on and reset. - cleared The start alert will only sound on power on. D03.02.27 bit 5 - set When the bit is set and GPIO pin 4 is programmed with External Alarm function, then enhanced external alarm mode will be activated. GPIO pin 4 will turn active for a period of 2 seconds after power up delay timer expired. After 2 seconds, GPIO pin 4 will return to its functional state. - cleared The radio will operate in standard external alarm mode. Note: Only available for mobiles. R03.07.05 bit 6 - set When the user presses the "Keypad Lock" button and the feature "Keypad Enable" is enabled, then the rotary knob is disabled along with the keypad. Pressing the button again will unlock the keypad and re-enable the rotary knob. - cleared When the user presses the "Keypad Lock" button and the feature "Keypad Enable" is enabled, then the keypad is locked, however, the rotary knob is still functional. Pressing the button again will unlock the keypad. Note: Only available for display portables. R03.07.05 bit 7 -set When the bit is set, the radio will behave in the way that is compatible to the requirement of GP360FUG11B radio with special Generic Command Option Board (GCOB). For instance, the soft channel 1 & 2's voice emphasis setting will be set to "Disabled/flat audio". Also, soft channel 1's Tx Timeout Timer Mode will be set to "Non-cumulative". Caution: Use this config bit strictly on GP360FUG11B radio only. - cleared The radio will follow back the default hard-coded value/settings for soft channel 1 & 2 (voice emphasis setting & Tx Timeout Timer Mode). Note: Only available for portable (GP360FUG11B). R03.09.05 Config Byte 2: -------------- bit 0 - set decoder time-out-time (MAX) limitation to system tone duration + 10 ms R03.01.22 bit 1 - set decoder integration time (MIN) limitation to 0.9 * system tone duration R03.01.22 bit 2 - set The squelch is debounced by four more cycles (5 instead of 1) to avoid radio resets caused by a message queue overflow when the squelch flutters. D03.05.01 bit 3 - set When decoding a "Cleardown" sequence without any address digits and/or status digits the radio displays "Call Received". This is the behaviour up to R03.01.27. - cleared When decoding a "Cleardown" sequence without any address digits and/or status digits the radio does not change the display. This is the new behaviour at R03.01.31. bit4 - set Decoded Group Call sequences which contain variable address digits will not be copied into the Missed Calls List. R03.02.00 bit5 - set Fast Data PTT is disabled if Rekey Inhibit Timer duration is set to a non-zero value. - cleared Fast Data PTT is not affected by Rekey Inhibit Timer duration setting. Note: Only available for mobiles. Even if Rekey Inhibit Timer is turned on, it will not apply on Fast Data PTT operation. R03.07.05 bit6 - set The radio will decode the acknowledgement status and display the status when the Acknowledge in the Encoder Telegram is set to Ack1 Expected or Ack1 Expected with Answer. - cleared The radio will not decode the acknowledgement status and will not display the status when the Acknowledge in the Encoder Telegram is set to Ack1 Expected or Ack1 Expected with Answer. Config Byte 3: -------------- bit 0 - set If encapsulated mode is enabled, radio will only handle the PROIS commands which started with $7F. R03.04.00 bit 1 - set Radio will check and update the HOOK state after radio power on automatically. - cleared Radio will always set the HOOK state to "on-hook" after radio power on, no matter what is the actual HOOK state. (compliant with old versions) D03.03.03 bit 2 - set When the radio has changed from Rx mode to Tx mode, a $01 PROIS command will be sent to the option board to indicate a CTS. - cleared A $01 PROIS command will be sent to the option board to indicate a CTS only when a channel is ready for voice or data transmittal, ie, one of following conditions are matched: 1. PTT is pressed when PTT is controlled by radio, and sending telegram on this channel is finished. 2. PTT is pressed by option board, and sending telegram on this channel is finished. D03.03.01 bit 3 - set During vote scan, radio will vote the carrier without unmuting the speaker, and will unmute the speaker if both carrier and correct PL are present. The Invalid Channel Marking feature will be disabled. R03.05.00 bit 4 - set Radio can record the voice from RSM or other voice accessories with MIC installed. - cleared Radio can only record the voice from internal microphone. D03.04.01 bit 5 - set Disable feature saving feature enhancement that is introduced since R03.02.07. Radio will work same as versions before R03.02.07. D03.05.01 bit 7 - Set If a Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) is connected at radio power up, the radio will initially use the external (RSM) microphone. -Cleared If a RSM is connected at radio power up, the radio will initially use the internal (radio) microphone. Note: When either the internal or external PTT is pressed the microphone path will be routed to the corresponding microphone. Do not set this bit when using accessories with only speaker and without microphone. Only available for portable Byte 4: not used Byte 5: not used How to calculate the configuration byte value: The configuration bits represent a 8-bit binary image which has to be converted to a 2 digit hexadecimal number which then has to be entered into the corresponding configuration byte field. The table below shows all possible settings for the higher digit of the configuration byte. Where "0" = cleared, and "1" = set, and "x" has to replaced by the lower number of the configuration byte. bit 7 bit 6 bit 5 bit 4 HexadecimalNumber 0 0 0 0 0x 0 0 0 1 1x 0 0 1 0 2x 0 0 1 1 3x 0 1 0 0 4x 0 1 0 1 5x 0 1 1 0 6x 0 1 1 1 7x 1 0 0 0 8x 1 0 0 1 9x 1 0 1 0 Ax 1 0 1 1 Bx 1 1 0 0 Cx 1 1 0 1 Dx 1 1 1 0 Ex 1 1 1 1 Fx The table below shows all possible settings for the lower digit of the configuration byte. Where "0" = cleared, and "1" = set, and "x" has to replaced by the higher number of the configuration byte. bit 3 bit 2 bit 1 bit 0 HexadecimalNumber 0 0 0 0 x0 0 0 0 1 x1 0 0 1 0 x2 0 0 1 1 x3 0 1 0 0 x4 0 1 0 1 x5 0 1 1 0 x6 0 1 1 1 x7 1 0 0 0 x8 1 0 0 1 x9 1 0 1 0 xA 1 0 1 1 xB 1 1 0 0 xC 1 1 0 1 xD 1 1 1 0 xE 1 1 1 1 xF Configuration Byte Setting Example: The squelch switching shall be slowed down, and when decoding a "Clear Down" sequence the radio shall display "Call Received". In this case bit 2 and bit 3 of configuration byte 2 have to be set, the others have to be cleared. This represents a binary image of "00001100". According to the tables above, the higher digit of configuration byte 2 is "0" and the lower digit of configuration byte 2 is "C". So a "0C" has to entered for configuration byte 2 in this case. |
