It is great that you published that recording – now many people will think twice when they are talking to you. Awareness helps a lot. As for the conversation itself – the only shame I get is that I was cursing a lot, using an “F-word” excessively much. Nevertheless, I will survive it, do not worry. I was probably over excited after the trip. There is not a single lie in that conversation from my side, even though you severely altered it. I could have published a book about that trip, people like those kind of stories. The only reason for me not to do it was my promise to Dave, K3LP, that it would have put him in a bad position as a co-leader. He made Paul a DX peditioner. How many operations you see with Intrepids when he is gone? I have been travelling with Germans, Italians, Spanians, Russians, Japanese and other leaders. I learned a lot from all of them. My deepest respect to the way they organize operations. I bet not a single Leader could tell that I was lazy, lied to them or did not operated my butt off in that chair. I am not a superman, and not the best person in the World (ask my wifes). But I am definitely not a crook or thief! I am risking everything I have to continue my only life-long hobby.
