TC571SAV to Commemorate the Birth of Prophet Mohammed We honor the birth of the Prophet Muhammad in April as he was born in April 571 ac. Muhammad (SAV) is known as the founder of the religion Islam and carried the message of god to humanity. Although HAM radio is not a religious and politic activity, we believe recalling god’s universal message of peace, will be meaningful, as humanity need peace more than anything in now days. The activity does not deliver any political message while it is a peace project like most of the TeamPapa activities are. Thus we are supporting this nice HAM activity of TRAC leaded by Balıkesir Branch. Branch leader Abdulkadir (TA3AER) is a member of TeamPapa and regardless of our personal beliefs, we are happy to support this nice activity in April. You may contact TC571SAV callsign in April at the amateur bands and modes. The callsign is multi-station and multi-user and QSL via TA3AER. The “571” in the suffix indicates the birth year of Prophet Muhammad and the “SAV” is an abbreviation of his appellation, meaning “peace be upon him” as in common English abbreviation “PBUH”. Prophet Muhammad (SAV) is one of the major figures in religion history, and accepted as the last prophet by than 1,5 billion Muslims in the world. Islam dates back to the age of Adam and its message has been conveyed to man by God’s prophets and messengers, including Abrahim, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Therefore Muslims have respect to all prophets and holly books of tawhid (unity of god). The word “Islam” is derived from the Arabic root “Salema” meaning: peace, purity, submission and obedience. The main idea behind all tawhid religions is “peace”. We believe the peace is the major order of god to humanity. We don’t forget the Christian HAM operators; we are planning aproject on August and September to commemorate the “Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary” from her home place in the historical destination Ephesus in Izmir. You may soon get more information about the project from TeamPapa website. |
