HILBERLING POKONANY |
Jeśli chodzi o w/w parametr w FLex, Rob Sherwood tłumaczy to tak Jego wartość niema znaczenia dla kolejności w tabeli sherwood. Yes I realized I initially put an incorrect value in the blocking column. The A/D overloads at some point above +10 dBm. The input level that puts that signal into the A/D will depend on whether any preamp gain is used during the measurement. Since the spacing makes no difference with a direct sampling radio, I listed the preamp OFF DR3 at 2 kHz and the preamp ON at 2 kHz. I also measure the IMD at 3, 5, 10 and 20 kHz spacing. It makes no difference at all what the spacing is as far as the results. Most legacy radios are RMDR limited before they block when measured with a normal CW bandwidth filter. The League measures blocking (since 2007) with a 1-Hz filter to remove the effect of phase noise. Since no one uses a 1-Hz filter on the air, the published blocking numbers in QST are meaningless as to on-air performance. Likewise the DR3 values measures with a 1-Hz filter are also meaningless as far as on air performance for most synthesized radio. The data is of interest to the design engineer to know where the weak link in the chain is. Operationally the measurements with a 1-Hz filter in an FFT spectrum analyzer have little correlation to the actual limit of the receiver. For most radios RMDR overwhelms the other measurements. RMDR is usually the worst case number for legacy radios, as Bob Allison clearly stated in his April 2012 sidebar for the Icom review.
